I've been participating in Three Sundays for awhile now. Your work has shown me how to "hold a different conversation" with life and has helped me move through grief to find my self again. Thank you.
Start Close In: Shaping a Creative Life Equal to the Challenge of Our Times
An invitation to reach a deeper foundation, undistracted by our surface worries, not in retreat from the world, but to find a sure inner ground from which to set off resiliently again into our difficult times.
In the midst of overwhelming circumstance, no different from our own tumultuous times, in politics, war or persecution, human beings have always been called to a form of radical simplification, to returning to a true foundation from which they can step into a new life: to the making of new promises and the letting go of old ones.
Our New Year’s resolutions are but magnified versions of this ancient taking on and giving up. The understanding has always been that firstly we have to give away something precious; something we previously thought was fundamental: then in this giving away we come to ground in our possibilities again, possibilities that were previously hidden by our too complicated view of what needed to be done, and who we needed to be in order to do it.
Join David Whyte for Three Sundays in January to look at the phenomenon of giving up in order to go on; of finding new promises by letting go of old ones, and remembering those vows that seemed to have been made on our behalf at our birth.
The New Year is a time for preparing in our mind to get out on the road again, though we know that road must be taken in ways we never understood before. These three sessions are a way of packing and preparing for that journey from the inside out, ready for the perils and possibilities this new year might bring.
Registration is open until April 20, 2025; the session recordings will be available to all registered attendees until May 1st, 2025.
Live session webinars take place via Zoom and include 60 minutes of David speaking followed by a 10-15 minute Q&A period.

During each session, we will open the Zoom Q&A column where anyone can submit a comment or question. David will take select questions during the last fifteen minutes of the session.
Due to the limited time, we cannot answer every question live, but David does enjoy reading all the comments after the session is closed, and on occasion is able to answer additional questions there.
